Lincoln Ave. Bonnie Koloc with special guests Robert Swan & Martha Carés $28 General Public/$26 Old Town School Members/$24 Seniors & Children BOX OFFICE: 773.728.6000 A longtime friend of the Old Town School, Bonnie Koloc, with her crystalline voice and exquisite songs, has been part of Chicago's folk scene since 1968 when she was one of the pivotal acts at the Earl of Old Town, Orphans and Holstein's folk music clubs. A true renaissance woman — from her singing and songwriting to her book illustrations and poetry — Koloc's artistry knows no bounds. Bonnie will be accompanied by Don Stille on piano and accordion, Steve Eisen on sax and flute, guitarist Chris Siebold, multi-instrumentalist John Rice, and special guest singers Robert Swan and Martha Carés who will also open the show. Robert Swan singer and film actor has sung with The Lyric Opera of Chicago, The Chicago Symphony, appeared in Natural Born Killers, Back Draft, and Hoosiers, and Martha Carés has appeared with The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Florida Grand Opera, Grant Park Music Festival, Milwaukee Opera Company, and Chicago Opera Theatre. In addition, Ms. Carés has been heard as guest solo artist with symphony orchestras including The Miami Chamber Symphony, The Grand Rapids Symphony, The Racine Symphony, and The Tulsa Philharmonic as guest solo artist with international opera star Simon Estes.
