As an independent record company owner, he specializes in Hawaiian and acoustic-themed music. Daniel continues to pursue excellence in composition, performance, audio engineering and production. Daniel with be joined by Jason Arimoto on `ukulele. The Honolulu Star-Advertiser has described Jason's style as "what sounds on first take like an electric guitar is Arimoto playing `ukulele through various effects. Guitarists have been experimenting with the sonic possibilities of their electrified instrument for more than 60 years, and Arimoto is picking up where Jake Shimabukuro left off." Any Festival of Aloha patron who attends one of the three Hula `Auana workshops offered by Kumu Hula Puanani Edgar will be invited up on stage to perform the Hula they learned accompanied by Daniel. It's a not-to-be-missed opportunity for hula dancers.
