With a powerful voice and backed by her talented band, who are influenced by the contemporary world and western R&B and rock and roll, she sings about love, family, women, and the toll of war. "To call Arby's style "desert blues" misses something essential: her music's infectious joy." - The Washington Post Bill Dolan is most known for his guitar work in 5ive Style and Heroic Doses (Sub Pop Records). He has been a huge influence to a generation of artists with his explosive 1960s New Orleans, Afrobeat guitar work. With his roots intact, the Das Boton sound is heavily influenced by Post-Punk and early NY New Wave. Karl Ropp on bass and Jeff Werckle on drums flesh out this instrumental trio.
