The Old Town School of Folk Music teaches and celebrates music and cultural expressions rooted in the traditions of diverse American and global communities.

Every month we choose a Friday to have an open house. It's the Old Town School's night of music and community. Bring your instrument, a couple songs, dancing shoes, a date or a few friends. The café is open, and the evening is open to the public. As a centerpiece event each month we feature a concert performance by a member of the School's amazing faculty or staff. Doors open at 5:00 PM, the whole evening costs only a $5 donation for individuals and $10 for families, and activities happen all over both building at various times throughout the night. Performances - April 6th 7:30 PM in Szold Hall: Danny Miller & Friends with special guest Bruce Greene Called by Tony Scarimbolo 9:00 PM in Maurer Hall: Paul Kaye 10:20 PM in Maurer Hall: The Newburys with Eric Delli Bovi Hosted by Matt Campbell
